Nov 13 (Friday) - Chili and Cornbread Dinner (Young Adults Group) - Blaze to help with set up, take down, and serving. (Let's get there between 5 PM and 5:30 PM)
Nov 15 - Neighborhood Youth Gathering After Church (w/ Lunch) - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
Nov 20 - Friday Night Live - Courthouse Community UMC - 7PM
Nov 22 - Neighborhood Youth Gathering After Church (w/ Lunch) - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
Nov 29 - Neighborhood Youth Gathering After Church (w/ Lunch) - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
Dec 12 - Blaze Fund Raiser Dinner
On January 19th, Blaze hosted a Food Drop Off in conjunction with the National Day of Service. This year's event got a lot more attention than usual because of the active support given it by President-elect Obama and his wife, Michelle. As a result of people dropping food off for the event, and earlier food drives by Aldersgate UMC and the River Forest Shores Civil League we raised over 350 pounds of food. God is good, all the time.
