Blackstone 2008 Better Than Ever

Blackstone, Va. Blaze traveled to the Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center (VUMAC) in Blackstone, Virginia this weekend for the annual Norfolk district youth retreat. The band Stand Still was the centerpiece of the weekend's musical entertainment and delivered a series of inspired performances for the Norfolk district youth in attendance. The keynote speaker, whose name no one could seem to remember all weekend, made this year's event one of the most memorable for our youth. Great job Jeff. Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravegent. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.
